Suffolk University Madrid Housing
Suffolk University Madrid housing on this page means rooms in shared flats within about 3 km of the campus on Calle de la Viña, for students who plan to arrange their own stay. We list 502 rooms in that radius, from €440 a month with a median of €680. They are private rentals listed on our site, so they sit outside the housing the university arranges.
Student Housing Abroad is an independent housing website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Suffolk University, and these listings are not university housing.

Ask the university first
Suffolk says its Madrid campus has no on-campus housing and that students choose among off-campus options the university arranges. Its pages also set out housing rules for the options it sponsors.
Ask the campus whether you may arrange your own room, particularly if you are visiting from Boston for one semester. If you may, the rooms below are one place to look.
Where the rooms are
Within about 1.5 km of Calle de la Viña we list 30 rooms, at €620 to €960 a month, including rooms on Calle Martín de los Heros. Within 3 km there are 502, on streets such as Calle de Bailén, Calle Alberto Aguilera and, further out, Calle Preciados near Puerta del Sol.
These distances are straight lines. From the outer streets you would usually take the metro to Moncloa or Argüelles, so check the real route before you decide.
What these rooms include
You rent a furnished bedroom and share the kitchen and living areas with the other tenants. In this radius all of the rooms list wifi, about nine in ten list a cleaning service and about eight in ten list an elevator.
Many flats hold around nine people. Flat size changes daily life more than most details, so read the number on the listing and think about whether it suits you.
Rooms or a residence
A room in a shared flat is the lower-cost choice here. We also list 214 residence units on Paseo de la Florida, near Príncipe Pío, inside the same radius, from €1,045 a month, for students who want services on site.
You can compare them on our Madrid page.
What to check before you book
Date first. When we checked in November 2026, 22 of the 502 rooms showed a free date by the end of January and 106 by the end of February, while 237 became free in June or July. A fall arrival has much more to choose from than a spring one.
Then check the bathroom, the window and the number of flatmates, which differ from room to room within a flat. Rent is shown per month in euros on every Suffolk University Madrid housing listing here.
