BluRock Shirokane is a furnished apartment on a quiet residential street in Shirokanedai, one of Minato's most loved neighbourhoods. Shirokanedai Station is a 9-minute walk, and the Namboku and Mita lines take you to Roppongi-itchome in about 6 minutes and Otemachi in about 15, with no transfers. Meguro Station on the JR Yamanote Line is 18 minutes on foot, and Haneda Airport is around 40 minutes away. Daily life here is easy. Platinum Street, lined with ginkgo trees, is full of cafés, bakeries and boutiques, and the area has more than 400 places to eat, from local soba shops to French bistros. Supermarkets such as Maruetsu Petit cover the weekly shop. Few places in central Tokyo have this much green. The Institute for Nature Study is a 20-hectare forest in the middle of the city, and next door the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum sits in a 1933 Art Deco mansion with lovely gardens. Happo-en and the Zen temple Zuishoji are close by too. Shirokanedai is popular with professionals, families and embassy staff who want calm at home and a short commute. Cove takes care of the setup, so you just bring your suitcase and move in.
